It’s a new year, and that means new leadership for the state’s biggest Realtor trade group.

CT Realtors announced that 2024 President Carl Lantz, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker in West Hartford, has now taken office.

Lantz is a second-generation Realtor, the association said, and has been a member since 2003. Over his 20 years with the group, he’s held positions on its executive committee, is a past president of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors and vice chair of the National Association of Realtors’ member communications committee. He was named Realtor of the Year by CT Realtors last year and by GHAR in 2019.

“I look forward to working with the talented members across the state, as well as our Board of Directors and Executive Committee. That’s what I enjoy most, all the friendships and close relationships I’ve made over the years,” Lantz said in a statement. “The real estate world is full of change, and this year will be no different. While change in the industry is constant, another constant is the value and service we as Realtors provide to our clients.”

Lantz lives in West Hartford with his wife, two teenage children and two dogs, CT Realtors’ announcement said.

Other senior leaders of the association for this year are President-Elect: Steve Miller (Keller Williams, Wallingford), First Vice President Alexa Kebalo (eXp Realty, South Windsor) and Treasurer Bryan Tunney (Brown Harris Stevens, Greenwich).
