NBT Bank celebrated its newly relocated West Hartford branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 21 and donations to a pair of local charities.

The office at 68 South Main St., offers customers expanded options, including drive-up banking, Saturday hours and a 24-hour ATM.

“The opening of our new West Hartford location reinforces NBT’s commitment to fulfilling the banking needs of Connecticut residents,” NBT Bank President of Retail Community Banking Joseph Stagliano said in a statement. “We are dedicated to providing convenient and accessible banking services while also actively supporting the communities we serve.”

NBT’s West Hartford Branch was formerly located at 433 Main St., within the same building as the bank’s Connecticut regional headquarters. NBT’s regional president and members of its commercial banking and wealth management teams will continue to be based at that location.

Victor A. Gonzalez has been named branch manager for the new location. Gonzalez comes to NBT with more than 12 years in the banking industry.

NBT’s announcement noted bank executives also presented monetary donations of unspecified size to representatives from two local nonprofit organizations: The West Hartford Food Pantry and Friends of Feeney, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to children and families after heartbreak and tragedy.

“These donations underscore our commitment to supporting the well-being of the communities we serve,” NBT Bank Regional President Andreas Kapetanopoulos said in a statement. “We are proud to contribute to organizations like the West Hartford Food Pantry and Friends of Feeney, which play a vital role in assisting our neighbors in need.”
