A building housing an M&T Bank branch in West Hartford traded hands last month for nearly $7 million.

An LLC controlled by a West Hartford resident along with residents of Rhode Island, Florida and North Carolina sold off 1013 Farmington Ave. on Feb. 20, according to a warranty deed filed with the West Hartford town clerk.

The buyer was an LLC controlled by Middletown investors Michael Stone and Michael Fleischmann, the heads of Stone Point Properties.

Town property records appraise the building at $6.43 million. Built in 1989, the 17,646-square-foot building sits on not quite an acre of land on the western edge of West Hartford’s commercial core.
