Branford Commercial Center Sells for $7.25M

A retail complex in the center of Branford has traded hands for a sizeable sum.

Lockworks Square, a 35,600-square-foot, four-building shopping center at 1196 Main St. fetched $7.25 million when an affiliate of Madison-based investor The Horton Group bought the property recently.

O,R&L Commercial’s Will Braun procured Horton and represented the seller, Greenwich-based HB Nitkin Group.

The complex was built in 1984 according to town property records. O,R&L Commercial said the sale happened after several new leases were signed: high-end steakhouse SaltBrick Prime, Cheri’s Bakery, Digestive Disease Associates, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers and Branford Tech Team.
