A seaside estate once owned by former President Donald Trump and former fashion executive Ivana Trump has traded hands for the first time since 1999.
The sale grossed former Bear Stearns executive Robert Steinberg and his wife Suzanne Steinberg $31.5 million according to a warranty deed filed with the Greenwich town clerk’s office.
The Steinbergs bought the property from Ivana Trump, who kept it in the Trumps’ 1990 divorce, in 1998 for $15 million. Ivana Trump died in 2022.
The current owners had listed it for sale on and off since 2009, at one point asking $45 million for it before relisting in 2022 for $29.9 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The Steinbergs finally sold the property Oct. 10 this year, to Num 21 Vista Drive LLC and Twenty One Vista Drive LLC, according to the deed, but neither LLC appears in the state’s database of corporations.
The sellers were represented by Brown Harris Stevens.
