Motl Promoted To Executive VP

Waterbury-based Webster Bank has named Christopher Motl as executive vice president of middle market banking.

Motl joined Webster in July of 2004 and most recently was a senior vice president and director of middle market segment banking. He is on the board of Special Olympics of Connecticut.

"This promotion recognizes Chris’ demonstrated high performance and substantial contributions to Webster over the last 10 years," John Ciulla, executive vice president of commercial banking, said in a statement. "He has built a highly successful, competitively differentiating platform that delivers sustainable economic profit."
