Savings Bank of Danbury Hires Kostka

Raymond Kostka has joined Savings Bank of Danbury as vice president of commercial banking for the lower Fairfield County area.

Kostka is a graduate of the New England School of Banking and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He most recently worked at Rockville Bank and NewAlliance Bank in New Haven and has nearly 34 years of banking experience.

Kostka volunteers with the Griffin Hospital Development Fund Inc. He also services as a facilitator for the New Haven Deanery Engaged Couples Conferences and as a referee with the Oxford Recreation Basketball program.

“Raymond is a great addition to our team of experienced commercial lenders. I’m confident he will help many businesses throughout western Connecticut benefit from his commercial lending expertise and knowledge of the bank’s products and services,” Nicholas Gazetos, executive vice president and chief lending officer, said in a statement.
