Save The Children Federation Inc. is moving to Riverview Park in Fairfield from Westport where it has been headquartered for the last 40 years.

The international nonprofit has signed a 15-year lease for approximately 60,000 square feet at 501 Kings Highway East. Save The Children is planning to move to the new location in spring 2014.

Eric West and Mindy Saffer of West, Lane and Schlager Realty Advisors in Washington, D.C., and Jeffrey Gage of Cresa Connecticut represented Save The Children. Hal Fischel and Jon Eckman of Fischel Properties negotiated the lease on behalf of landlord Rooster River Plaza LLC, which is a Fischel Properties-related entity.

Riverview Park is a 140,000-square-foot, Class-A facility completed in 2002.
