A sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s office in Avon has ranked as the No. 1 sales associate among the company’s affiliated associates in Greater Hartford.

Trish Murphy earned the distinction for closing 83 transactions totaling more than $34 million in sales volume in 2014. For her accomplishment, Murphy will be recognized with the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier award, which is given to the top 1 percent of approximately 87,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system. Murphy will be honored during a celebration at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich on May 14.

She is a trusted real estate adviser who has won the respect and admiration of her clients and colleagues," Cathleen Smith, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., said in a statement. "I expect that Trish will continue to work hard for her clients and will be very successful in the coming year."

Murphy has consistently ranked as a top-producing real estate professional serving homebuyers and sellers in communities throughout Hartford, Tolland and Litchfield counties. She has served as a board member of Avon Dollars for Scholars and Avon Newcomers Group. The mother of three daughters, Murphy was also the PTO president of the Pine Grove Elementary School.
