Branford Former Church Sells for $900K

A former church on a 10-acre site in Branford has sold for $900,000.

Saint John Bosco Parish Corp. sold the 14,000-square-foot building at 65-99 Burban Drive to GR Realty Assoc. Colonial Properties Inc. Vice President Kevin Weirsman represented the seller. Lou Proto of The Proto Group represented the buyer.

The property is assessed at $2.97 million, according to Branford property records. The church building, formerly home to St. Elizabeth’s Parish, was built in 1969, according to the St. John Bosco parish website, and consolidated into the St. John Bosco parish along with two other local churches in recent years.
