Six new tenants will open this year at Darien Commons, the redevelopment of a grocery-anchored shopping center into a mixed-use property.

Seamore’s restaurant, sweetgreen, Tartinery, Oath Pizza, Naya and fitness club Solidcore have signed leases at the property, which is being redeveloped by Federal Realty Investment Trust with 75,000 square feet of new retail space and a 122-unit apartment complex.

New York City-based Seamore’s is opening its first Connecticut location at the property, providing a rotating catch of locally-sourced seafood. Tartinery, another New York-based cafe and bar, and Naya, which specializes in Lebanese cuisine, also are opening their initial Connecticut locations.

The new arrivals will join 11 tenants that have remained open during the project, which included the demolition of a former Stop & Shop Supermarket, construction of a new Walgreens and a renovated Equinox club.
