Savings Bank of Danbury has hired Renee Rovelli as vice president of commercial lending.

In her new role, Rovelli is a relationship manager and business development officer for commercial customers, the bank said in a statement. She is responsible for managing and growing the portfolios of commercial banking customers while addressing their lending, deposit and cash management needs.

Rovelli has more than 20 years of banking experience. She was previously a vice president and business relationship manager at Webster Bank and vice president and senior business relationship manager at Wells Fargo, according to the statement. Rovelli was also a vice president and divisional manager for Wells Fargo’s Greater New Haven market.

She is a member of Southington Community Services, CT Mission of Mercy, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and HONR Network, the bank said.

“We are pleased to welcome Renee to our team,” Patrick Kelley, senior vice president of commercial lending, said in the statement. “Renee’s vast banking and commercial lending experience combined with her outstanding client relationship skills will bring great value to our customers. She is a great addition to our banking team.”
