East Hartford-based market research firm AccuBranch LLC has appointed Nancy Nesbitt as executive vice president and chief operating officer. She will begin her new role on June 1, when current COO Jay Fisher retires, AccuBranch said in a statement.
AccuBranch helps community financial institutions with their branch networks using market analysis, data-driven decision-making tools and other methodologies used by national retailers, according to the statement. Nesbitt joined AccuBranch in early 2021 and has led the expansion of its service offerings, increased its marketing and trade show presence, and refreshed the company’s logo and website, the company said.
“Nancy will draw on a wealth of professional experience in real estate, site selection, and banking to lead the next growth phase at AccuBranch,” R. Michael Goman, AccuBranch’s president, said in the statement.
Fisher will continue as an executive vice president, the statement said, assisting with client relations and special assignments.
“We thank Jay for everything he’s done to build AccuBranch into the enterprise it is today,” Goman said. “Jay joined AccuBranch when it was little more than a good idea. He assumed leadership of its day-to-day operations and steadily grew its client base and reputation. AccuBranch is now well-known and respected across the industry. Jay’s steady leadership transformed AccuBranch into a go-to provider of insightful information and innovative services to banking and credit union executives.”
Founded in 2009, AccuBranch has a team of real estate and market research experts. The company said it has worked with more than 130 banks and credit unions from Maine to Texas.
