Stamford-based Webster Bank has promoted Kathleen Stanley to the role of executive managing director and head of business banking.
In her new role, Stanley will oversee teams that provide core lending, deposit and treasury management services to business owners with up to $25 million in annual revenue, the bank said in a statement. Stanley also will continue her current responsibilities, which include not-for-profit, property and association management, and legal services, as well as government and institutional banking and the commercial servicing HUB.
“Kathleen is an experienced leader with more than 30 years in banking,” Chris Motl, Webster’s president of commercial banking, said in the statement. “Her client-focused approach and banking expertise are key to Webster’s continued growth, and I have no doubt that, under Kathleen’s leadership, the Business Banking team will continue to thrive and build on their established standards of excellence and success in our markets.”
Stanley previously had roles leading treasury and deposit solutions for the East Coast at City National Bank and the treasury management sales team for Capital One’s Northeast Commercial Bank.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to expand on the great work the team has done to drive success for Webster Bank’s business banking clients,” Stanley said in the statement. “I am confident our seasoned and diverse team will continue to deliver outstanding service to our communities in which we do business.”
