The First County Bank Foundation has awarded 11 Greenwich-based nonprofit groups a total of $45,500 and four Darien-based nonprofits a total of $17,500 as part of a charitable giving campaign celebrating the foundation’s 15th anniversary.
The following Greenwich organizations received grants:
- Kids in Crisis – $10,000
- River House Adult Day Center – $2,500
- Hill House – $6,500
- Greenwich Alliance for Education – $5,000
- Jewish Family Services of Greenwich – $4,000
- Neighbor to Neighbor – $2,500
- United Way of Greenwich, CT – $2,500
- YMCA of Greenwich – $2,500
- YWCA Greenwich – $2,500
- Abilis Inc. – $5,000
- Meals on Wheels – $2,500
In Darien, the following groups were awarded:
- The Community Fund of Darien – $2,500
- At Home in Darien – $2,500
- Person to Person – $7,500
- The Tiny Miracles Foundation – $5,000
The recent series of awards have touched groups in Norwalk and Westport within the last few weeks.
