Add Derby to the list of Naugatuck Valley towns getting a new mixed-use development.
City officials approved a 215-unit development just to the south of the city’s downtown, according to the Connecticut Post.
A team of real estate developer Lepore and Sons and landscaping contractor Barretta Enterprises’ Jen and Christopher Barretta want to build 215 multifamily units and 8,546 square feet of commercial space in a pair of 4-story buildings, as The Commercial Record previously reported. The project will take up two parcels totaling 2.79 acres at 23 Factory St. The unit mix includes 192 one-bedrooms, 14 two-bedrooms, five studios and four two-bedroom townhouses. Amenities shown on its plans include a pool.
