Foodshare is pleased to welcome Cherie L. B. Trice as the director of giving and major gifts officer. Trice joins Foodshare after over 20 years at Key Private Bank in Hartford. Trice will be responsible for securing revenue to meet critical fundraising goals from existing donors and major gift prospects. She will develop and manage a planned giving program for Foodshare and will oversee the giving department.
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. (MassMutual) has provided an $85,850 grant to Foodshare, a regional food bank located in Bloomfield.
Berkshire Bank has launched its fifth “Season of Giving,” aimed at assisting children and families in need during the holiday season. The campaign runs through the end of the holiday season and engages bank employees in a variety of community service projects throughout the cities and towns that Berkshire Bank serves.
